History: Beth and Travis started off together hot and heavy, but as soon as his jump start in his career with the FBI called for long hours, she sought out attention in other outlets--namely in an affair she and Hart Steiner had with one another. When Travis found out about what his wife had done, he was furious. However, upon discovering she was pregnant with Sam, he stayed married to her for a few more years until it came out that Sam was in fact Sam's father. However, despite the betrayal that Travis felt over what Beth had done, he still tried to maintain a relationship with daughter Sam even though he was aware that he was not her biological father. Travis still carries a chip on his shoulder and is out to destroy Hart for the way in which he believes Hart destroyed his life.
